The Education and Training Special Interest Group

Hope all is well with you. In order to take advantage of the momentum generated by the last E&T SIG meeting where a Vision, Mission and a list of short term goals were developed, we will be meeting in two weeks.  November 1, 2008 will be our next meeting. As a result of what came out of the last meeting the following agenda action items is proposed for the next meeting:

1. Establish the following subcommittees and assign volunteers to each:
- Member Recruitment
- Programs/Workshops
- Member Development (Including Curriculum Development)

2. Develop a plan of action for each subcommittee with dates, programs and methods and responsibilities

3. Discuss next steps and date of next meeting

The meeting will be held at the Bilingual Education Institute:
